A delegation from the Turkish Parliament and some Turkish community leaders including Nevzat Pakdil ,Vice President of Turkish National Assembly; Konya deputy Mustafa Kabakci; Batman deputy Mehmet Emin Ekmen; Bartin deputy Yilmaz Tunc ,Isparta deputy Haydar Kemal Kurt; Celil Yaka President of TTACC,Cemil Teber Vice President of TCAE ,Turan Kilic Regional Director of IID,Celil Tunc Regional Director of TTACC, Vice president of IID met with officials in Austin, the capital city of the US state of Texas
The delegation visited Susan Combs, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Charles Cooper Commissioner of Banking, Commissioner of Education, Robert Scott, Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson Mayor Lee Leffingwell .The delegation also visited Texas State Capitol and got information about building from State Representetive Elliott Naishtat.
